The Oklahoma Chocolate Milk Cafes (OKCMC) are a part of Chocolate Milk Cafe National, a 501(c)(3) IRS recognized organization.
OKCMCs are designed to educate, support and empower Black, African American, African Diaspora families in OK to successfully meet their lactation goals and to increasing the number of peer/professional providers throughout the entire state.
In lieu of Covid-19 precaution, our meeting are currently virtual via zoom platform.
We are excited to be offering this free community resource again. We know your access to lactation assistance is limited as many birthing sites have stopped offering lactation services. A benefit of attending OKCMCs is that you are supported by other Black, African American, or African Diaspora providers holding a variety of certifications. We know that representation matters!
We are meeting on the 2nd Saturday and the 4th Thursday of the month. If you happen to miss a meeting, visit our Facebook page to see what resources or information we shared during the meeting per our attendees questions. The resources will be listed under the meeting date on our timeline.
To register for our meeting on June 25, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
